What to call this higher component of consciousness absent in some people? Usually it would be called the soul, but that has caused too much confusion in the past. What intuitive or clairvoyant perception picks up about their consciousness involves metaphysical factors instead. This goes beyond mere physical factors like missing portions of the brain, defective genetics, or a poor upbringing, because the latter are just defects in the hardware and programming of the biological machine, whereas the problem here involves the consciousness operating the machine. The missing factor must be something that endows a being with self-awareness, volition, and the capacity to value transcendental ideals. There is an important difference between awareness and self-awareness. It seems they have conscious awareness just as plants and animals do, but not conscious self-awareness as humans are supposed to have. There is something animalistic and rudimentary piloting their bodies. Put another way, their minds are like sand castles instead of real castles. Unlike other people, their conscious energy is more diffuse, dull, impermanent, and amorphous rather than solid, sparkling, crystallized, and concentrated. There is a certain simplicity, flatness, and inertness to their essence, even if their intellects are highly developed. Psychically scanning their consciousness reveals something interesting.

Nevertheless, in the presence of others they can put on a flashy show of concern, distress, or altruism for purposes of social manipulation for example, crocodile tears to elicit sympathy, or doing something nice for another solely to guilt trip them later and extort a favor. They also appear entirely incapable of empathy, soul-searching, and willful self-sacrifice. They lack comprehension of anything beyond the material sphere of the five senses, and have no interest in such metaphysical matters except as flashy accessories to boost their social image. They lack individuality, independent thinking, and are strongly biased toward holding a herd mentality. Sometimes these traits are camouflaged by a polished social exterior, but anyone with a discerning eye can see through the disguise. Their behavior tends toward being glib, shallow, egotistical, narcissistic, mundane, predatory, and materialistic. They could make better choices in the creation of their personal and work lives, and still learn without the severe wounding that goes on here in trying to make relationships work with those that are so different or just downright dangerous. If people were to begin to understand how many different energetic presentations reside on earth their lives would be much more peaceful. It is thought that approximately two-thirds of our worlds population falls into this category. They are profoundly destructive because they can never be understood and will never understand and spread vibrations of alienation, isolation and desecration which are all devastating feelings for an evolving soul. They can never really love, they can only copy the imprint of what others are demonstrating in loving relationships. Taking in information, processing what they are experiencing with very sever limitations. Their soulless vibration and connection to the Divine either does not exist or has such a faint connection to their Divine origins it does not resonate in our world.

But however it happens it has caused more suffering and confusion and contrast than anything, even evil, than I have ever been a witness to. It may happen through circumstances and choices that are made while here on Earth.

There are individuals on this planet with whom their souls have somehow become densified and atrophied. No one comes in equally and no soul leaves the earth in stasis. Each persons lifetime is comprised of all sorts of different experiences and impressions. Each person incarnates into a body in a lifetime with their own unique spiritual imprints from all previous lifetimes. The soul absorbs all that we come into contact with and retains it. The soul is the most important organism in all our our embodiments. Not physically, not emotionally and most importantly not spiritually. While they are not necessarily any less intelligent, successful, or physically healthy as anyone else they nevertheless show no indication of having any higher components to their consciousness. We have all heard the terms above before to describe certain individuals but where do they come from? Out of necessity they had to be invented by those who independently notice the same puzzling phenomenon, one for which there is no official name in that some people seem to be missing something very important inside.
